Things are going swimmingly here in Hay-on-Wye. We've met so many unbelievably helpful folk in and outside of town who've done so much to put us in contact with various others. So if you're one of those, a big, hearty thank you from both Mufidah and myself (and please read on).

If you're just looking on, seeing what we're up to, well, here's what we're presently working on today, Friday, 1 June. We'd greatly appreciate any help you might be able to offer with regard to any of these pursuits. You can call or text us on 07971 774151, or email me at

Firstly, we're actively seeking a venue — a space in Hay-on-Wye to accommodate 12 to 15 folk — for an impromptu MLG Creative Writing Workshop during the Hay Festival. Thus the following two tweets which I've just posted:
SEEKING VENUE for impromptu Creative Writing Workshop during @hayfestival, to accommodate 12-15 folk in a circle. Text: 07971 774151. #Hay25
IMPROMPTU Creative Writing Workshop during @hayfestival—LIKE TO JOIN US? Call/text 07971 774151, or email #Hay25
Workshop details (e.g., day, times) will be announced as soon as we've sourced a suitable venue in town. We'll also, at that point, print up some leaflets to pass out in town. So stay tuned!

And one other tweet, likewise posted just a few minutes ago:
Coming to @hayfestival from #Brighton #Hove? If so would you be willing to bring my partner's and my laptop w/ you? Unexpectedly staying on.
If you do try reaching us via telephone (please leave a detailed voice mail message), text or email, we're having to do our very best with what little O2 signal we can get from one or two places in town. We will, however, get back with you as soon as we next stop by one of those places and check our incoming messages. We're checking these frequently during the day while we're in town. In the late evenings and early mornings we're, unfortunately, not able to get any signal whatsoever while at our campsite. But we will check for incoming calls, texts and emails as soon as we're back in Hay-on-Wye the following morning.

With love and warm regards to all ...

Sean (& Mufidah)
