Lewes Creative Writing Workshop: This Saturday, 20 November ...

Although the 6-week Creative Writing Course which began in Lewes last Wednesday morning is full, the good news is that the one-day Creative Writing Workshop runs this Saturday, 20 November.

This is essentially a one-day writing retreat during which we bask in the presence of one another's company, read together and share our in-class writings within a warm and supportive space.  And because the focus of all my classes is centered on the process of writing, rather than the end product, they are ideal for those who are entirely new to creative writing as well as for experienced writers.  Read through some testimonials to see how an astonishingly wide-variety of folk respond to this warm-hearted process of writing together.

We meet in the lovely Upper Hall of the Lewes Subud Centre, at 26a Station Street, just a few minutes' walk from the Railway Station. So, it's easily accessible via train from Brighton/Hove, Worthing, London, Seaford, Eastbourne, Hastings, etc., and the workshop times also facilitate coming in from out of town for the day.

We meet from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a lunch break from approximately 12 to 1 p.m., during which time we're free to join others at one of several wonderful cafés, bring a lunch from home, or spend quiet, reflective time alone. The nearby Grange Gardens are a splendid place to stroll around or to sit on a bench and just be.

If you'd like to join us for this Saturday's workshop, please email or telephone me on 07971 774151.

The workshop fee is £30.

I hope you'll consider joining us. And, as always, I'd greatly appreciate your forwarding on this announcement to any other friend or family folk whom you think might be interested in experiencing the heartfelt presence which inevitably arises around the writing table whenever we gather together. Thank you.

With warm regards,
