A Special Sort of Day ...

Lou Glandfield, aka "Louie the Crow"

Just this morning I got an email from Lou, in follow-up to our first meeting at the March Lewes Farmers' Market. He kindly forwarded on two of his songs, to be released on his new "budget" album this coming Saturday on the streets of Lewes, weather permitting. If so, I'd head for the Cliffe High St. pedestrian zone and keep your eyes peeled and your ears tuned, and consider dropping a Lewes Pound or two into Lou's guitar case. Better yet, buy his new album.

Here are the two pre-released songs, brought to you by Lou Glandfield, his personal genius, and Mindful Living Guide ...

Entropy Blues (.mp3)
Rubber on the Road (.mp3)

Strange, I wrote a rather dark poetic prose piece just last week with the phrase "rubber-tar roar of the road". As I also wrote to my big bro just a bit ago, I think I've re-found my guitar muse.

Another tidbit, also just in this morning ...

Stefan Freedman has invited us to lead a two-hour Mindful Writing workshop at the Lewes Art of Change: Arts & Awareness Festival, running from April 10th through the 14th. Our Mindful Writing workshop is scheduled for Monday, the 13th, from 2:30 to 4:30. Workshop ticket price is £10 at the door and £7 in advance. To get tickets at the lower price, they must be bought before April 7. Click here for ticket information, then scroll to the bottom of the page.
